Russia claims Ukraine's Forces destroyed strategically important bridge in Kursk region
Russian Telegram channels claim that Ukrainian forces allegedly destroyed a bridge over the Seym River near the village of Glushkovo in the Kursk region. It is a crucial logistical artery in the area, according to the Russian Telegram channels Mash and Vazhnye Istorii.
Russians claim that the Ukrainian Armed Forces allegedly fired "several American Himars rockets" at the bridge.
Propagandists also assert that "two munitions from the MLRS family" hit the bridge, one of which supposedly struck a vehicle carrying Russian "volunteers."
After the latest strike, which reportedly occurred around 5:00 PM Kyiv time, one of the bridge's spans collapsed.
Currently, part of the Glushkovo district is cut off, including the villages of Tyotkino, Popovo-Lezhachi, Wolfino, and about 27 other settlements.
As reported by Vazhnye Istorii, the bridge was a crucial logistical artery for Russian troops in the area. So-called Russian war correspondents fear that its destruction could signal the beginning of the capture of the Glushkovo district.
Additionally, Russian propagandist Roman Alyokhin claims that the Ukrainian Armed Forces allegedly "struck the bridge in the village of Zvanoye in the Glushkovo district and intend to capture a section of the Glushkovo district along the Seym River."
Other propaganda outlets are making similar claims. Russians assert that "right now, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are striking the bridge over the Seym River in the Kursk region, in the village of Zvanoye."

Yesterday, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that Ukrainian troops have taken control of 82 settlements in the Kursk region (1,150 square kilometers of territory).
Additionally, Ukraine has established a military command in the Kursk region, headed by Major General Eduard Moskalev.
