Russia bombs Ukraine's Odesa overnight, damaging school, home, and infrastructure

Odesa was under Russian attack for most of the night and morning of August 27, according to Serhii Lysak, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
As a result of a prolonged Russian attack on Odesa, infrastructure, an educational institution, and a high-rise residential building were damaged.
All details are currently being investigated.
As of now, there have been no reports of casualties. An air raid alert remains in effect in the city. Residents have been urged to ensure their own safety.
Russian attack on Kharkiv was part of a large-scale nighttime strike across several regions of Ukraine. Explosions were also heard in Kyiv when the Air Force had warned of a ballistic missile heading toward Kyiv from the Chernihiv region.
Additionally, Russia attacked Zaporizhzhia, the Poltava region, and Kryvyi Rih. 3 people were injured in Zaporizhzhia, and in Kryvyi Rih, a strike on an industrial facility injured 2 more.
The day before, a Russian attack on Ukraine was even more extensive. Russia launched a double drone strike on a business center in Lozova. At least 10 people were injured, some of whom are in critical condition.
That same morning, the Russians struck Chernihiv, resulting in a fire that destroyed a private residential building. Russia also struck gas facilities in 2 Ukraine's regions simultaneously.
In total, that same night, Russia attacked Ukraine with 162 strike drones from 5 directions. Ukrainian air defense forces shot down most of the drones, but some hits were recorded.
