Russia launches double drone strike on business center in Ukraine's Lozova, many injured

According to the mayor, the first strike by a Geran-type drone hit a three-story shopping center at 3:03 p.m. Forty minutes later, Russian forces launched a second strike on the same location after a pause.

"The building caught fire, and surrounding high-rises were damaged. After waiting a bit, the Russians launched a repeated strike. This was a deliberate calculation aimed at maximum casualties: during working hours, near shops, medical and social facilities," Zelenskyi noted.

The mayor said at least 10 people were injured in the strikes, including some who were in serious condition. Zelenskyi also stressed that the threat of further drone attacks remained in the city.

Earlier today, Russian forces struck Chernihiv, setting a private residential house on fire. The building was effectively destroyed by the blaze.

RBC-Ukraine also reported that overnight, Russia attacked Ukraine with 162 attack drones launched from five directions. Ukrainian air defenses shot down most of the enemy drones, although some strikes hit their targets.
