On the night of August 27, Russia attacked several regions of Ukraine at once. In Zaporizhzhia, 3 people were injured, and in Kryvyi Rih, a Russian strike on an industrial facility injured 2 more people.

RBC-Ukraine reports on the full extent of the Russian attack on Ukrainian cities.

Zaporizhzhia

According to Fedorov, 2 men and a woman were injured in the Russian attack. All of them have already received medical care.

A car and several buildings were also damaged, and a fire broke out at the site of the Russian strike.

Poltava region

The Poltava Regional Military Administration also reported the Russian strike. According to their information, the region came under attack, and details of the consequences are currently being clarified.

Kryvyi Rih

Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the Kryvyi Rih City Defense Council, reported that the city had been struck by 2 Russian ballistic missiles, noting that further launches cannot be ruled out.

It was later reported that an industrial facility in the city was hit, and 2 people sustained injuries, none of which were serious.

At 7:50 a.m., Oleksandr Vilkul provided an update on the consequences of the nighttime attack on the city. According to him, Russia struck an industrial facility with 2 ballistic missiles, resulting in injuries to 2 men, aged 46 and 58. They are both in the hospital in moderate condition, and medical personnel are providing them with the necessary care.

In addition to the industrial facility, the Medical and Sanitary Assistance Center and civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged. Rescue workers continue to survey the area, and further details of the Russian attack are being determined.

This nighttime Russian attack was part of a broader strike targeting several regions of Ukraine. Explosions were also heard in Kyiv when the Ukrainian Air Force had warned of a ballistic missile heading toward the capital from the Chernihiv region.

Earlier that evening, the Ukrainian President's adviser had warned of Russian planned targeted attacks on retail chains in Ukraine. According to him, shoppers at shopping centers would have only one or two minutes to evacuate after the alarm sounded.
