Russia attacks Ukraine with Iskander missile and over 100 drones overnight

On the night of January 30, Russia attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 111 strike drones from various directions. Air defense forces managed to shoot down 80 enemy drones, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
According to the military, from 18:00 on January 29 until the morning of January 30, Russians attacked with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Voronezh region.
The enemy also launched 111 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types, and other types of unmanned aerial vehicles from the following directions: Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russia, and Donetsk – temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. About 70 of them were Shahed drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense shot down or suppressed 80 enemy drones.
Hits of a ballistic missile and 25 strike drones were recorded at 15 locations, as well as the fall of downed drones (debris) at two locations.
"The attack is ongoing; several enemy drones remain in the airspace. Follow safety rules!" the Air Force warned.
Attack on Ukraine
Late in the evening of January 29, Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia. An industrial infrastructure facility was hit, and a residential building was also damaged.
In Kharkiv, early in the morning on Friday, January 30, a loud explosion was heard. The military warned of a ballistic threat and recorded a missile.
On the night of January 29, Russia attacked Ukraine with 105 strike drones from various directions. Air defense forces managed to shoot down 84 enemy drones.
At the same time, hits of 18-strike drones were recorded at seven locations.
Yesterday, US President Donald Trump unexpectedly stated that he had agreed with Russian President Vladimir Putin to stop strikes on Ukraine's energy facilities. Later, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed information about an energy ceasefire with Russia.
