Russia strikes Ukraine with 2 ballistic missiles and 130 drones overnight

On the night of August 30, Russia attacked Ukraine with Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 130 strike drones. Ukrainian air defense forces managed to shoot down most of the Russian drones, but some did reach their targets, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
Last night, the Russians launched two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Kursk region, as well as 130 attack drones of the Shahed type (mostly jet-powered), Gerbera, S8000 Banderol, and Parodiya-type decoy drones from the Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk directions of Russia; the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk; and Hvardiiske in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m. Kyiv time, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down or neutralized 125 Russian drones in the north, south, east, and center of Ukraine.
Russian airstrikes were recorded at 13 locations, and debris from downed drones was found at 4 locations.
In addition, some Russian drones failed to reach their targets; information regarding them is being clarified.
On the evening of Saturday, August 29, and during the night of August 30, the Russians once again attempted to attack Kyiv with rocket-powered drones. As a result of the Russian strikes, fires were reported in several districts of the city, and there were casualties.
