Russian forces hit residential district of Zaporizhzhia: photos, video and details

Russian forces launched a late-night strike on Zaporizhzhia on Jan. 29, hitting an industrial infrastructure facility and damaging a residential building, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
According to Fedorov’s posts, around 10:00 PM there was a threat of guided aerial bombs (KABs) being used in Zaporizhzhia region, while drones were repeatedly detected over the regional center.
About 20 minutes later, it was reported that Russian forces had struck an industrial infrastructure facility, sparking a fire.
Roughly an hour later, the head of the regional administration said a residential building had also been hit. Preliminary reports indicate that one person was injured.
"As a result of the Russian attack, windows were blown out and balconies damaged in a high-rise building in one of Zaporizhzhia’s residential neighborhoods," Ivan Fedorov clarified shortly afterward.
In addition, Ivan Fedorov shared footage from a surveillance camera that captured the moment of the Russian strike.

Zaporizhzhia region strikes
Russian forces regularly attack the Zaporizhzhia region using drones, missiles, and aerial bombs.
Overnight, Russian forces struck the private housing sector in Volniansk, damaging seven houses and destroying one. A gas pipeline caught fire, and several people were injured.
Earlier, on the night of January 21, Russian forces also attacked Zaporizhzhia, damaging private homes and outbuildings.
