Russia attacks Ukraine with 94 drones from five directions overnight

On the night of March 12, Russia attacked Ukraine with 94 strike drones from five directions. Air defense forces managed to shoot down the majority of enemy unmanned aerial vehicles, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
According to military data, from 18:00 on March 11 until the morning of March 12, Russians attacked with 94 strike drones of Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types, and unmanned aerial vehicles of other types from directions of Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russia, and Hvardiiske – temporarily occupied territory of Crimea.
More than 60 of the launched drones were Shaheds.
Air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, units of electronic warfare and unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense shot down or suppressed 77 enemy drones of Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types and unmanned aerial vehicles of other types in the north, south, and east of the country.
Hits of 16 strike drones were recorded at 11 locations, as well as the fall of downed drones (debris) at one location.
"Attack continues, several enemy unmanned aerial vehicles remain in the airspace. Follow safety rules!" Air Force warned.
Attacks on Ukraine
On the night of March 12 in the Chernihiv region, as a result of the fall of an enemy drone, a 15-year-old girl was killed, and her parents were injured.
Yesterday, on March 11, Russia attacked Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs. As a result of the attack, 10 people were injured, including two children.
Russian forces also attacked a bus with a drone in the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. Twenty people were reported injured, including a teenager.
In addition, yesterday morning, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv with a strike drone. As a result of the attack, fire broke out, and there were dead and wounded.
