Russian strike on Pavlohrad
On September 6, around 10 a.m., Russians launched a missile attack on the civilian infrastructure of Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk region.
"5 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from Voronezh and Rostov regions were used. Unfortunately, there are victims," the Ukrainian Air Force says.
As a result of the enemy attack, 58 people were injured. The oldest is 86 years old, the youngest is 4.
Several enterprises were damaged in the city as a result of rocket attacks. More than 30 high-rise buildings, a kindergarten, and 27 shops were damaged. A car was destroyed, two more were damaged.

Yesterday, September 6, the 24th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group was held at the American airbase Ramstein in Germany, with the participation of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for the first time. The Allies made several important statements and promised new supplies of weapons.
According to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov, the focus of the meeting was on providing Ukraine with air defense systems and missiles for them.
Also among Ukraine's priorities are artillery ammunition and equipment for Ukrainian brigades, as well as long-range weapons.

US announces new military aid package for Ukraine worth $250 million
On Friday, September 6, the United States announced a new military aid package for Ukraine. The total amount is $250 million.
The package includes:
- RIM-7 missiles and air defense assistance
- Stinger missiles
- Ammunition for HIMARS
- Artillery ammunition of 155 mm and 105 mm calibers
- TOW missiles
- Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems
- Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles
- M113 armored personnel carriers
- Mine-resistant ambush-protected (MRAP) vehicles
- Small arms ammunition and grenades
- Patrol boats
- Maritime training equipment
- Demolition equipment and ammunition
- Spare parts, support equipment, services, training, and transportation.
Spain delivers HAWK air defense battery to Ukraine, now in Poland
Spain has transferred a complete HAWK air defense battery with six launchers to Ukraine. It is already in Poland.
The Spanish Ministry of Defense announced the transfer of the HAWK air defense battery during the Ramstein meeting in Germany.
“Given President Zelenskyy’s clear request for air defense systems, Minister Robles announced the immediate shipment of a complete HAWK battery, which includes six missile launchers. These have already been delivered and are currently in Poland,” the statement said.
Canada to provide Ukraine with over 80,000 rocket engines and 1,300 warheads
Canada will supply Ukraine with a large batch of CRV-7 rocket motors, along with 1,300 warheads for these rockets.
The shipment will include 80,840 CRV-7 rocket motors and 1,300 warheads. They are set to be shipped to Poland, where they are expected to arrive in the coming months.
The CRV-7 rocket motors were previously used by the Canadian Air Force on CF-18 fighter jets but were decommissioned.
Canada will also send 970 C6 machine guns and 10,500 9-mm pistols from its reserves.
At Ukraine's request, Canada also announced the donation of decommissioned chassis from 29 M113 armored personnel carriers and 64 Coyote LAVs. These will either be repurposed or used for spare parts in Ukraine.
Germany and other partners to send 77 Leopard 1A5 tanks and 12 howitzers to Ukraine
Germany will transfer 12 Panzerhaubitze 2000 howitzers to Ukraine at a cost of 150 million euros. Six units will be sent to Ukraine this year, and another six in 2025.
Germany, together with other European partners, is preparing to deliver 77 Leopard 1A5 main battle tanks to the Ukrainian army. The Leopard 1A5 tanks will be transferred to Ukraine by Germany in cooperation with Denmark and the Netherlands.
Azov fighters liberate part of New York in Donetsk region
Fighters from the 12th Special Purpose Brigade Azov have regained control of part of the village of New York in the Donetsk region. The warriors also broke the siege and freed Ukrainian soldiers from encirclement.
The defenders said that the situation remains tense. The Russians are conducting up to 15 assaults daily in the brigade's area of responsibility. However, the fighters are holding the line and successfully counterattacking.
Russian forces lost about 6,000 soldiers killed and wounded in Kursk, Zelenskyy
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that during the first month of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) operation in Russia's Kursk region, Russia had lost approximately 6,000 soldiers killed and wounded.
"We have turned the tables and are pushing the war into Russia through our counteroffensive. Today, we control an area of more than 1,300 square kilometers in the Kursk region. This includes one hundred settlements," he added.
According to Zelenskyy, Russian troops abandoned a significant portion of the territory upon seeing the approach of Ukrainian forces, while other areas were taken under control by Ukrainian forces during combat.
"So far, during the first month of our operation in the Kursk region, the Russian forces have lost about 6,000 soldiers killed and wounded in Kursk only. And other tens of thousands of Russian troops in other war zones," Zelenskyy noted.
Iran sends short-range ballistic missiles to Russia
Iran has transferred a batch of ballistic missiles to Russia. Probably, these are short-range missiles, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The WSJ writes that the move comes as Russia has increased its missile attacks on Ukrainian cities and infrastructure, killing dozens of civilians in recent days.
