Russian President Vladimir Putin signed an order for the Russian Ministry of Defense regarding the training of military personnel and civilian volunteers in courses on destroying drones with smoothbore weapons, TASS reported.

It is noted that military personnel and volunteers from among the "civilian population" of Russia will be trained to shoot down drones using smoothbore weapons. This includes various types of rifles – semi-automatic, single- and multi-barrel hunting rifles (double and triple-barrel), pump-action shotguns, and shotguns with interchangeable barrels.

Putin's order also mentioned the need to take measures to reduce the time of supplying camouflage nets to the front in Ukraine, as well as to equip vehicles, allegedly intended for the "evacuation of the wounded," with means of protection against drones.

The problem of drone strikes is very acute for the Russians. Thus, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the night of August 21 successfully struck an enemy train with fuel and lubricants near Dzhankoy.

Earlier today, it became known that Ukrainian intelligence carried out a unique attack in the area of the temporarily occupied Zaliznyi Port. The military reported that a drone with laser targeting guided a missile at a Russian boat, destroying it along with the entire crew.

In addition, on the night of August 21, explosions occurred at the Novoshakhtinsk oil products plant in Rostov and at a fuel and lubricants base in the Voronezh region. A drone warehouse and a logistics base of the Russian army in occupied Donetsk were also hit.
