New details show damage to mall in Ukraine's Kryvyi Rih after Russian strike

Cleanup continues in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine, after a Russian strike on a shopping center that resulted in 16 killed and more than 50 civilians hospitalized, according to the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
Condition of those injured
A total of 51 injured people are currently being treated at city hospitals, including 14 children.
Doctors describe the condition of six victims as critical. Among the most seriously injured are two children, ages 10 and 16.
Rescue and emergency crews continue to work at the site of the strike and clear the aftermath of the Russian attack.
Russian assault on shopping center in Kryvyi Rih
As previously reported, on August 21, the Russian army carried out a targeted strike on the shopping mall in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine.
The attack killed 14 people, while the number of injured rose to 140, including people in serious condition. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called the strike on the shopping center an absolute atrocity and promised a tough response.
Later, Ukrainian intelligence obtained information that Russia may be preparing new strikes on shopping centers in frontline cities, including further provocations and attacks on civilian facilities in Kryvyi Rih. Civilian infrastructure in frontline regions remains at heightened risk.
