The Kremlin is lying when it claims it is not attacking Ukrainian infrastructure following agreements with US President Donald Trump. However, on the night of March 21, Russian forces launched more than 200 drones and guided aviation bombs at Ukraine, the Russian news agency RIA Novosti reports, citing Dmitry Peskov, Spokesman for the Russian dictator.

"The order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief (Putin - ed.) is in effect; the Russian armed forces are currently refraining from strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure by the agreement reached between the United States and Russia," Peskov said.

According to the Russian President's spokesman, Putin and Trump have so far only agreed to cease strikes on energy infrastructure.

At the same time, Peskov blamed Ukraine for violating the agreement.

On March 18, US President Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin had a phone conversation. According to the White House, Trump and Putin allegedly agreed to halt strikes on energy and infrastructure. In particular, the Russian side claimed that the Russian President had ordered not to attack Ukraine's infrastructure.

Russia had previously made multiple statements emphasizing that it would stop strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, but it never adhered to its promises.

Nighttime attack on Ukraine

On the night of March 21, Russian forces launched 214 drones at Ukraine. Air defense forces destroyed 114 drones. Another 81 enemy UAVs, used as decoys, were lost locally (without negative consequences).

In addition, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian regions with guided air bombs. The Russians struck towns in the Zaporizhzhia region, damaging homes. Six people were injured, including a child.

That night, the Russian army also massively attacked Odesa and the region with drones. Due to the enemy attack, civilian infrastructure was damaged, fires broke out, and shopping centers, trade pavilions, and a children's camp were set on fire. Homes were also damaged. Three teenagers were injured due to the Russian strike.

Moreover, the Khmelnytskyi, Sumy, and Kyiv regions were also hit by enemy fire during the night.
