The number of casualties in the Zaporizhzhia district from Russian airstrikes has risen to six. Private houses were destroyed, and a fire broke out, according to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

"Six injured, including a 4-year-old boy. These are the consequences of the enemy attack on the Zaporizhzhia district," the official said in the morning.

Earlier, data from local authorities and the State Emergency Service reported five casualties from the Russian airstrikes on the outskirts of Zaporizhzhia. Specifically, rescuers reported that the victims were a 61-year-old man, three women aged 50, 54, and 55, and a child.

"Air bombs destroyed two and damaged three private houses, as well as structures on the territory of a garden cooperative. Fires broke out at the impact sites," reported the head of the regional military administration.

He added that the injured received necessary assistance. Work to eliminate the consequences of the enemy shelling is ongoing.
