Russians strike Zaporizhzhia suburb with X-59, child among injured

Russians attacked populated areas of the Zaporizhzhia district with guided air bombs. Fires broke out at the impact sites, and civilians were injured, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
The attack took place during the night of Thursday, March 20. The victims included a 61-year-old man, three women (ages 50, 54, and 55), and a child. All of them received medical assistance.
Additionally, as a result of the shelling, vehicles and residential buildings covering a total area of 700 m² caught fire.
Emergency services were working at the crime scene. The State Emergency Service deployed 55 rescuers and 9 units of equipment.

Rescuers saved dog
As later reported by the State Emergency Service, in Zaporizhzhia, emergency responders saved a dog that was trapped under the rubble of a house following Russian shelling.
"The rescue of the dog was complicated by the fact that it was deeply buried under the collapsed building structures. The rescuers managed to free the dog," the SES reported.
The rescuers also added that the dog's life is not in danger and shared footage of the rescue operation.
Russian attacks on Ukraine
Russia's army continues to carry out large-scale attacks on civilian infrastructure and populated areas with strike drones, missiles, and guided aerial bombs.
On the evening of March 20, Russian military forces launched a large number of Shahed drones into Ukrainian airspace.
In Odesa, numerous powerful explosions were heard, and fires broke out. Power outages occurred in some areas, and there are casualties.
During the night, Russia launched a mass Shahed drone attack on Kropyvnytskyi. The city experienced numerous fires due to impacts and falling debris. There are casualties among local residents, including a child.
