Odesa under massive Russian attack: People injured, malls burned, fire station damaged

Russians massively attacked Odesa and the region with drones on the night of March 21. Large-scale damage is being reported, with 3 people injured, according to the Dumska news agency and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

In Odesa, a Russian drone attack damaged civilian infrastructure, including a residential high-rise building, a shopping center, shops, and cars.
The rescue unit was also hit.
"Large-scale fires broke out. The shopping center, shops, and trade pavilions were on fire. A high-rise building was damaged. One of the city's fire stations was also damaged," said Maryna Averina, a spokesperson for the State Emergency Service.
Utilities are currently cleaning up the aftermath of the attack, and the streets of Odesa are still covered in foam after large-scale fires have been extinguished.
In addition, the Novohorodske cemetery was damaged. At the cemetery, 50 graves were destroyed, 30 of which were completely destroyed.

Consequences of Russian drone attack on Odesa district
The Russians also attacked a recreational area in one of the resort districts with drones.
"There was a destruction and fire of buildings on the territory of a children's camp, which has not been operating since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine," the regional State Emergency Service said.
Russian attack resulted in a fire, which rescuers quickly extinguished. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Russian strikes on Odesa
On the night of March 21, Russia launched a massive drone attack on Odesa and the region. Large-scale fires broke out in three locations in the city.
Russian drone attack damaged shops, a shopping center, and a residential high-rise building. 3 people were injured, including children.
Russians shelled Odesa just as Czech President Petr Pavel was arriving. In total, Russia launched 214 drones in Ukraine from five directions. Ukrainian air defense system shot down 114 of them.
