Czech President Petr Pavel visited Odesa. During his meeting with Ukrainian officials, Russia attacked the city with Shahed drones, according to Oleksii Kuleba, Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction and Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine.

“We met (with the Czech president - ed.) in the city of Odesa, which is terrorized by Russia every night. It was during our meeting that Russia launched three groups of Shahed drones on Odesa. The entire civilized world must see Russia's crimes against Ukraine,” Kuleba wrote.

Together with the heads of Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regional administrations, we discussed further direct support for the regions,” said the Deputy Prime Minister for Recovery, Minister of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine.

Russian strikes on Odesa

On the evening of March 20, Russians attacked Odesa and the region with drones, causing blackouts and fires in the city. After a while, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, reported the first victims, including a child.

Russian strikes damaged Odesa's infrastructure, including a high-rise building, a shopping center, and shops.
