Ukraine, together with its international partners, has developed and agreed on the so-called Prosperity Framework – an economic prosperity package that is part of the security arrangements and future peace agreements, Economy, Environment, and Urban Development Minister Oleksii Soboliev made this statement at a briefing in the Presidential Office following a meeting with national security advisers.

"In recent weeks, together with the US side, the World Bank, and the World Bank Group, we have been developing a document that outlines how much capital is needed to rebuild Ukraine and significantly boost its economic growth, so that Ukraine becomes self-sufficient and people return to the country," the minister said.

Specifically, the discussion covered which sources for this capital exist today, which may emerge over the next ten years, as well as how to access private sources, public sources, and mixed sources of such capital. In particular, it addressed the instruments through which this capital could flow into Ukraine.

These are instruments that already exist, such as investment funds and special programs, as well as instruments that need to be developed jointly. According to the minister, all of this is being pursued alongside the security framework.

Summarizing the information regarding the agreement on the Prosperity Framework, Soboliev noted that the plan will be discussed with the US side on Tuesday.

"Today, we had a session with the security coordinators, and we agreed on this plan and decided to continue cooperating with them. The next meetings will take place in Paris on Tuesday to develop a joint plan with the US, European countries, as well as Canada and the Nordic countries," he concluded.

Today, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko stated that Ukraine will need approximately $800 billion for reconstruction and economic development over the next decade.

She said that in recent weeks, Ukraine and the US have been actively discussing the next steps under wartime economic conditions and the transition to long-term prosperity.
