Princess Anne of the United Kingdom made an unannounced visit to Kyiv, thereby showing support for Ukrainian children affected by Russian aggression, according to BBC and Sky News.

According to the media, during her visit, Anne met with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the First Lady. They honored the memory of the children who were killed and spoke with teenagers who had been returned from Russian deportation.

At the same time, Buckingham Palace clarified that the primary purpose of the princess's trip was to draw attention to the "traumatic experiences of children living on the frontline of the conflict."

In Kyiv, she visited the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War and St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery, where she honored the memory of the young Ukrainians whose lives were taken by Russia.

Princess Anne also visited the Child Protection Center. There she spoke with teenagers who had been abducted from their homes by Russian forces but were later returned to their homeland. Anne thanked the staff of the center, who, as she said, were "working tirelessly" to reunite as many children as possible with their families.

On September 12, Prince Harry visited Kyiv. During his visit, he stated that he wanted to do "everything possible" to help thousands of servicemen who had been seriously wounded.

"We cannot stop the war, but what we can do is do everything we can to help the recovery process," Prince Harry said.

In April, Prince Harry made an unannounced visit to Ukraine, during which he visited Ukrainian Armed Forces veterans and those affected by Russian military aggression.
