Explosions in Russia
Explosions are regularly reported in various Russian settlements in different regions, often occurring in border areas.
For example, since December 30, Russians have been consistently complaining about shelling in Belgorod and the surrounding region. Sources from RBC-Ukraine within the security services reported that on December 30, the Security and Defense Forces carried out a missile strike on military targets in Belgorod.
As Russians claim, so-called shelling continued on January 1 and 2. Russian officials and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation claim that supposedly intercepted missiles caused these explosions. On January 3, explosions and sirens were reported again in Belgorod, and the governor stated that the situation was tense.
