On the night of June 28, Russia struck a 21-story residential building in Odesa. Police have released the first footage from the scene of the tragedy, the Patrol Police of the Odesa region reports.

"Tonight Russia struck a 21-story residential building. We immediately arrived at the site of impact. Unfortunately, there are dead and injured," the law enforcement explained.

According to the police, together with all services, they helped evacuate the residents of the building and provided first aid to the victims until the medics arrived on the scene.

"We ensured unhindered passage of special transport - ambulances and rescuers. We controlled the situation and took care of the safety of citizens in the affected area," law enforcement added.

Police also expressed gratitude to the rescuers, medics, and "everyone who stood guard over life that night."

On the night of June 28, the Russians attacked Odesa with kamikaze drones.

The reports indicate that a Shahed hit the multi-story building. Due to the enemy strike, people were killed, and several others were hospitalized.
