Russian soldiers are refusing to respond to their commanders over the radio to avoid referral to suicidal assault missions, according to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU).

Threats instead of motivation

Ukrainian military intelligence intercepted a conversation in which a Russian commander, frustrated and angry, tries to force his subordinates to return to the radio channel. Russians are deliberately ignoring the calls, realizing that their next assignment could be their last.

The commander, visibly losing control, resorts to threats of violence as his final argument.

"If you f*ck faces don't get in touch, you're f*cked, got it?" he shouts over the radio.

Psychological dislocation in Russian ranks

According to intelligence officials, such incidents confirm a critical level of loss of morale among Russian troops. The enemy soldiers are looking for any way to avoid death, while their commanders continue to treat them merely as expendable resources.

"The interception once again demonstrates the deep morale loss and fear among the personnel of the enemy forces, who are trying by any means to avoid being killed," Ukraine's Defense Intelligence said.

The agency notes that the only safe option for Russian soldiers is to voluntarily surrender through the Ukrainian state project "I Want to Live."

Frontline situation, Russian army's methods

Ukraine's Defense Intelligence recently revealed details of an operation that halted a Russian offensive toward Zaporizhzhia. Thanks to the actions of intelligence units and Ukraine's Defense Forces, the enemy's plans to advance in that direction were disrupted.

Previously, the DIU special forces thwarted Russian plans in the Zaporizhzhia region by carrying out preventive strikes on areas where Russian troops and equipment were concentrated.

In addition, the "motivation" methods used in the enemy army are becoming increasingly brutal. Earlier, Ukrainian intelligence published an intercepted conversation indicating that Russian soldiers were being forced into attacks under threats of being shot in the legs if they refused to carry out orders.
