The US Federal Bureau of Investigation has released a photo of the suspect in Charlie Kirk’s murder. An image of the weapon used to shoot the activist has also appeared online, according to an FBI post on X and the New York Post.

"We are asking for the public's help identifying this person of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University," the FBI stated.

According to the New York Post, preliminary law enforcement reports indicate that the sniper rifle used to shoot Kirk had cartridges engraved with "transgender and anti-fascist ideology."

The weapon is a .30-06 Mauser bolt-action rifle. Investigators found it in a forest, wrapped in a towel.

Murder of Charlie Kirk

On Wednesday, September 10, during debates at Utah Valley University, shots were fired roughly twenty minutes after right-wing activist Charlie Kirk began his speech. The activist was hospitalized with injuries.

Later, US President Donald Trump confirmed Kirk’s death.

Following the incident, American investigators reported the arrest of a suspect in the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, but the suspect was released after questioning.
