Pavlohrad under heavy fire: Officials share new photos of destruction

Russia launched a massive missile and drone strike on Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk region, overnight and into the morning of July 19. As a result, nine apartment buildings and an educational institution were damaged, according to a Telegram post from Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
"According to updated information, nine apartment buildings, a private house, and an educational institution were damaged in Pavlohrad due to the massive attack," Lysak said.
The head of the regional administration added that the city is currently working to address the aftermath of the enemy terror, with all necessary services actively operating wherever needed.
"Residents of the buildings are submitting claims for damaged property. Construction materials are being provided for rapid repairs. The police and charitable organizations are working on the ground. Compensation for damages can also be received from the government. To do this, an application must be submitted to participate in the "eRecovery" program," added the head of the regional military administration.
Russian strike on Ukraine on July 19
Last night, July 19, Russia attacked Ukraine with drones and various types of missiles. In Kyiv, during the drone attack, a drone fragment fell on a residential building in the Darnytskyi district.
However, the most massive attack hit Pavlohrad. Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak reported that the city experienced the largest attack since the beginning of the war.
"A hellish night and morning for Pavlohrad. The largest attack on the city. Explosion after explosion. Russian terrorists targeted the city with missiles and drones," Lysak said.
According to him, fires broke out due to the Russian strikes, damaging the fire station, industrial enterprises, and a five-story building.
Odesa was also hit by the Russian attack. As a result, several floors of a high-rise building caught fire. One woman died, and several people were injured.
