Russia launched another drone attack on Ukraine overnight, using Shahed-type kamikaze drones. Some of the UAVs were directed at the south of the country, including Odesa, where explosions were reported, informs Odesa Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov.

Russian drones attacked Odesa during the night of July 19.

"Odesa, please stay in safe places! The city is under attack by strike UAVs," Trukhanov wrote on social media.

He later confirmed that at least one explosion had occurred in the city.

As of now, there are no reports of casualties or injuries.

Later, correspondents from Suspilne reported additional explosions. As of 12:33 AM Kyiv time, at least eight loud blasts were heard in the city, according to preliminary information.

The air raid alert in the Odesa region was issued at 10:40 PM Kyiv time on July 18 and remains in effect.

The Air Force of Ukraine first reported drones approaching Odesa at 11:26 PM. By 12:01 AM, a second group of Shahed drones was reported heading toward the region from the Black Sea.
