Drone attack on Kyiv: First consequences reported

Following a drone attack on Kyiv on the evening of July 18, the first consequences have been recorded. A piece of an enemy drone fell onto a residential building, according to the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko.
"We are documenting the aftermath of the enemy attack in the Darnytskyi district. A part of a UAV fell onto the roof of a residential building," he said.
According to preliminary information, no fire broke out as a result of the impact. No injuries have been reported.
Residents and visitors of the Ukrainian capital are urged not to ignore air raid alerts and to remain in shelters, as the drone attack is ongoing.
According to the latest update from the Air Force of Ukraine, Russian tactical aviation activity was recorded in the northeastern and eastern directions. The threat of airstrikes targeting frontline regions remains in place.
New groups of Russian drones were also spotted heading toward the Mykolaiv region from the Black Sea.
Combined attack on Ukraine on July 18
On the evening of July 18, Russian forces launched both ballistic missiles and drones at Ukraine. Missiles were headed to Dnipro, while drones were targeting Poltava.
After 7:30 p.m., Russia launched a series of high-speed aerial threats, with explosions reported near Poltava.
Simultaneously, several groups of strike drones were launched. An air strike threat was declared for the city of Chernihiv.
