Zelenskyy: Russia strikes Coca-Cola plant in Kyiv region

Russian forces attacked a Coca-Cola plant in the Kyiv region with drones today, September 3, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during his evening address.
According to the head of state, Russia is using its weapons to terrorize civilians. The enemy is attempting to disrupt civilian life and damage the economy.
"Today, the Russians struck a Coca-Cola plant with a drone. Coca-Cola has apparently become such an enemy to them that they are burning it with Shaheds. A clear Russian signal to America," Zelenskyy said.
He also noted that Russia was undoubtedly aware that its strike targeted an American enterprise.
Strike on Coca-Cola plant
Russian forces have been attacking Kyiv and the Kyiv region with attack drones, including jet-powered ones, throughout the day on September 3.
During the day, reports emerged that the Coca-Cola plant in the settlement of Velyka Dymerka in the Kyiv region was among the targets of the Russian attacks. The facility is one of the largest soft drink production plants in Europe.
Media outlets published videos showing that a fire broke out at the plant following the attack.
Earlier today, September 3, Russian forces also launched several strikes on Kyiv. In the evening, reports emerged of a drone striking a nine-story apartment building in the Holosiivskyi district. One person was killed in the attack.
