Partisans uncover secret info on Russian missile maker

Atesh agents gathered secret information about the products of the Kaluga Instrument-Making Plant Typhoon, which manufactures missiles for the Russian army.
"For a year, our agent, operating on a permanent basis inside the Kaluga Instrument-Making Plant Typhoon, systematically transmitted confidential information. The data transfer was carried out with full anonymity through verified channels," Atesh said.
What weapon samples information was obtained about
It is reported that information was obtained about the Bal-E complex: the configuration of the launcher, including internal communication schemes between the guidance modules and the computing center. The system has been partially modernized for Kh-35UE missiles. Changes were also recorded in electronic warfare protection and adaptations of the complex for deployment in non-standard conditions.
In addition, the agent managed to obtain a description of the tactical and technical characteristics of the latest modification of the shipborne radar Positive-ME1.2, including range, sector coverage, and the number of targets tracked simultaneously, digital signal processing schemes, methods for improving accuracy under electronic warfare conditions, and internal self-diagnostics algorithms.
Interestingly, factory tests recorded failures that were not reflected in open reports. The malfunctions concerned conversion units and cooling systems.
New developments
Work has also begun on a maritime radio detection system with a modular architecture designed for mobile platforms.
Furthermore, the plant is developing an export version of the radar, declared as a civilian navigation and meteorological station, but its internal parameters indicate a dual purpose. Materials obtained from the source have been forwarded to the relevant units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Strikes on the Typhoon plant
On the night of November 25, 2924, air defense systems were active in the Kaluga and Kursk regions of Russia.
According to Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, a strike was carried out on the Typhoon plant, which manufactures components for military equipment and naval weapon systems.
