Ukraine has requested a special OSCE meeting to discuss Russia’s strike on Dnipro with the Kedr missile. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 27, according to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.

"On Wednesday, upon Ukraine’s urgent request, the OSCE will discuss Russia’s escalatory use of an intermediate-range ballistic missile in its aggression against Ukraine at a special joint meeting of the Permanent Council and the Forum for Security Cooperation," the Minister reported.

He added that Russia is the biggest security threat in Europe. And Moscow's actions show that it is seeking to expand the war.

"They must be condemned and stopped. We will use every international platform and mechanism to increase global pressure on the aggressor," Sybiha added.

A strike on Dnipro

Last week, Russian forces used a medium-range ballistic missile to attack Ukraine for the first time. According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the new Oreshnik missile was used.

However, Ukraine's Defense Intelligence clarified that Oreshnik refers to a research project, while Kedr is the name of the missile system itself.

Currently, there are no air defense systems in Ukraine that could shoot down such missiles.
