Russia struck Ukrainian territory with the Oreshnik ballistic missile. This was its test, Russian President Vladimir Putin made this statement during an address to the Russian people.

According to Putin, Russia allegedly carried out a combined strike on a Ukrainian defense facility in response to American and British weapons strikes on Russia.

"In combat conditions, a test of Russia's new medium-range missile system was conducted. In this case, the missile was equipped with a non-nuclear payload," said Putin.

Kremlin leader claimed that this was supposedly a response to the permission given by Western partners to Ukraine to strike Russian territory. He also stated, as usual, that there are allegedly no means in the world to counter Russian Oreshnik missiles.

It is worth noting that currently there is no publicly available information about this missile.

Shelling of Dnipro

This morning, Russia launched a missile strike on the city of Dnipro, using various types of weaponry.

The Russian army likely fired an intercontinental ballistic missile at Dnipro from the Astrakhan region.
