Russia deploys intercontinental ballistic missile, examinations ongoing - Zelenskyy
The Russian Federation launched an intercontinental ballistic missile against Ukraine today, November 21. Investigations are currently ongoing, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"On November 21, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Dignity and Freedom – a commemoration of two Ukrainian revolutions and a reflection of who Ukrainians truly are. Today, our insane neighbor once again shows its true nature – its disdain for dignity, freedom, and human life itself. And it shows how terrified it is," the president said.
According to Zelenskyy, the enemy continues to scour the globe for missiles to use against Ukraine. Today, Russia deployed an intercontinental ballistic missile for the first time.
"All the characteristics – speed, altitude – point to an intercontinental ballistic missile. Investigations are underway. It is evident that Putin (Russian dictator Vladimir Putin – ed.) is using Ukraine as a testing ground. It is evident that Putin fears normal life near him, where people live with dignity, and where a country simply wants and has the right to be independent," Zelenskyy added.
