One of Russia's largest ammunition depots explodes: Photo and video

Explosions occurred on April 22 at the 51st Main Missile and Artillery Directorate's (GRAU) arsenal in the Vladimir region of Russia. Locals reported seeing a fireball and a column of smoke, according to Russian Telegram channels.
According to Russian sources, loud explosion sounds were in the village of Barsovo in the Vladimir region. The 51st arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate (GRAU) of the Russian Ministry of Defense is located near this village. Preliminary reports indicate that an explosion followed by a detonation.
Locals said that drone sounds were heard shortly before the explosions.
Evacuations have already been announced in nearby settlements, and entry to Barsovo itself has been blocked. Residents report that detonations are still ongoing in Barsovo. There has also been massive smoke, visible to people across the entire Kirzhachsky district of the Vladimir region. A state of emergency has been declared in the region.
About the 51st GRAU arsenal
The 51st GRAU arsenal is one of the largest ammunition depots of the Russian Ministry of Defense. It is located in the Kirzhachsky district of the Vladimir region, near the village of Barsovo, approximately 8 kilometers from the town of Kirzhach.
Preliminary data suggests that around 105,000 tons of ammunition are stored there: artillery shells, rockets for MLRS, air defense components, and tactical missiles such as the Tochka-U.
The distance from the closest point on the Russia–Ukraine border to the arsenal is over 500 kilometers.
Attacks on other GRAU arsenals
In October of last year, the 67th GRAU arsenal was attacked by drones, as officially confirmed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The same arsenal was attacked again on November 19, where artillery munitions, including North Korean shells for their systems, were stored.
In September of last year, Ukrainian forces successfully attacked a missile arsenal in Toropets (Tver region).
