Number of injured victims keeps rising in Ternopil, half are emergency workers

The number of people injured in Ternopil has once again increased following the overnight shelling by Russian troops. Half of the wounded are employees of the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine, according to the press service of the SES.
As of now, 11 people are confirmed injured. Six of them are employees of the emergency service.
Massive attack on Ukraine on June 6
During the night of June 6, Russian forces once again attacked Ukrainian cities, launching missiles and drones. In the capital, debris fell in several districts, damaging residential buildings, infrastructure, a section of the metro, and a gas station.
Ternopil was also severely affected by the shelling. The city experienced one of the biggest attacks since the beginning of the full-scale war. Direct hits were recorded on industrial facilities and critical infrastructure.
In Chernihiv, the enemy struck a residential neighborhood, leaving part of the city without electricity.
Commenting on the enemy strike, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that 'Russia doesn't change its stripes' and called on the West to increase pressure.
