'Russia doesn't change its stripes,' Zelenskyy reacts to overnight strike on Ukraine

The terrorist state of Russia hasn't changed its stripes. Last night, during a massive strike, the enemy used more than 440 air targets for their attack, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reports.
"Russia doesn't change its stripes - another massive strike on cities and ordinary life," Zelenskyy wrote.
During the attack, Russia struck almost all across Ukraine - including the Volyn region, as well as:
- Lviv region;
- Ternopil region;
- Kyiv region;
- Sumy region;
- Poltava region;
- Khmelnytskyi region;
- Cherkasy region;
- Chernihiv region.
Air defense forces managed to shoot down part of the missiles and drones. In total, the enemy used more than:
- 400 UAVs;
- 40 missiles, including ballistic ones.
Due to the terrorist attack, 49 people were injured, according to Zelenskyy. However, that number may rise as more people continue to seek medical help.
As of now, reports indicate that three people were killed - all of them were employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"My sincere condolences to their families. All the necessary services are now on the ground, clearing the rubble and conducting rescue operations. All damage will definitely be restored," the Ukrainian President added.
Russia must be held accountable for attack
As Zelenskyy noted, Russian troops have been shelling Ukraine from the very first minute of the full-scale war.
"We've done a lot together with the world to enable Ukraine to defend itself. But now is exactly the moment when America, Europe, and everyone around the world can stop this war together by pressuring Russia. If someone is not applying pressure and is giving the war more time to take lives - that is complicity and accountability. We must act decisively," Zelenskyy stated.
Massive Russian attack on Ukraine on June 6
On the night of June 6, Russia once again launched a massive strike against Ukraine using missiles and drones. In Kyiv, debris fell in several districts. High-rise residential buildings, parts of the city's infrastructure, a section of the subway, and a gas station were damaged.
Ternopil was also heavily hit. The city suffered direct strikes on industrial sites and critical infrastructure - this was one of the most massive attacks on Ternopil since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
In Chernihiv, Russia struck a residential area. Currently, part of the city is without electricity.
