No sign China wants to end war in Ukraine, Zelenskyy says

At present, there is no sign of China's willingness to help end Russia's war against Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during a conversation with journalists following his meeting with US President Donald Trump.
"We don't feel the influence, because we don't see the wishes from China to end this war. I don't feel it totally. They are not interested. Really, I don't know why," Zelenskyy said.
According to him, "we can be experts." Experts, "to say that look, it's because of the economy, because of history, and that's it. But we really don't know."
"We see and feel that they are not interested in (the war in Ukraine - ed.), and that's why I said that for today, I see that Trump is a game changer," the president noted.
Recently, US President Donald Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping held a phone conversation. According to the American leader, progress has been achieved on the issue of reaching peace between Russia and Ukraine.
Trump also stated that Xi Jinping is determined to end the war in Ukraine and is willing to contribute to this effort.
