Thousands of families on the Left Bank of Kyiv were left without electricity due to a nighttime attack by Russian troops, Ukraine's energy company DTEK reports.

Currently, 2,170 families on the Left Bank are without power.

"We're doing everything possible to restore electricity to every home as quickly as we can," DTEK states.

Massive attack on Ukraine on June 6

On the night of June 6, Russia launched a massive attack against Ukraine. During the assault, Russian forces used missiles and UAVs. Due to the attack on Kyiv, debris from air targets was recorded in several districts. In the capital, high-rise buildings, infrastructure facilities, subway tracks, and a gas station were damaged.

Ternopil was also targeted. That night, the city survived one of the most massive attacks since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion. Industrial facilities and infrastructure were hit. There are also issues with power supply.

Lutsk was affected as well. As of now, five people have been reported injured.
