Three people have been killed in a missile attack on a hotel in Kryvyi Rih. The rescue operation continues, according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.

"Three people are now confirmed dead from the nighttime missile attack on Kryvyi Rih. One more person remains missing," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to Lysak, rescue teams continue to work at the scene.

He also added that eight shops and cafes, 14 high-rise buildings, and about 20 cars were damaged in the city.

Background

At midnight, Russian forces launched a missile attack on Kryvyi Rih. There was a direct hit on a hotel, which was partially destroyed.

State Emergency Service personnel managed to rescue five people following the attack.

As of this morning, two deaths from the strike were reported.

It is worth noting that a few days ago, the Russian army targeted a hotel in Kramatorsk with an Iskander ballistic missile. The journalists were affected, including a Reuters employee who was killed.
