A new remotely operated combat module SHABLIA MK19(M) has been officially approved for use in Ukraine, according to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The Ministry has codified and authorized the use of the SHABLIA MK19(M) remote-controlled combat module in the Armed Forces.

What is known about the SHABLIA MK19(M)

The SHABLIA MK19(M) combat module is designed for firing a 40mm automatic grenade launcher. The system can be integrated with both ground-based robotic platforms and vehicles.

The module is capable of both direct and indirect fire, allowing it to strike enemy targets by coordinates from defiladed positions.

"One operator can control the module," the Ministry of Defense added.

The Ministry recently announced that Ukrainian forces will begin using a new unmanned aerial system Volyniaka.

So far, it is known that the new hexacopter is designed to hunt heavily armored targets.

The Russian army constantly changes the technical parameters and routes of its strike drones, forcing Ukraine to adapt to these evolving threats.
