What is burning

Yesterday, on April 29, drones struck an oil pumping station near Perm. Today, according to social media, a repeat strike hit the same facility or an area nearby. Local channels are publishing new videos of the explosion.

The fire at the site lasted at least a day.

Ukraine’s 'long-range sanctions' in action

On April 29, the Ukrainian military attacked the Perm linear production dispatch station — a strategic oil facility more than 1,500 kilometers from the border with Ukraine. Almost all of the station’s tanks were on fire.

Meanwhile, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy released data on how strikes on oil infrastructure are reducing Russia’s seaborne exports. A critical drop in shipment volumes has been recorded in three key ports.

Russian-occupied Crimea is also suffering from the strikes.

Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck the Kacha airfield and an oil depot in Simferopol. Air defense facilities and drone control points were also hit.
