Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out a series of strikes on Russian military targets, hitting air defenses, logistics, and drone control centers, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the military, the strikes took place throughout the previous day and overnight into April 29.
Ukrainian units targeted key elements of the enemy’s air defense and radar systems.
At the Kacha airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea, Ukrainian forces struck an MR-10 radar station, an air defense command post, and a Parol-4 ground interrogator.
In addition, a Tor surface-to-air missile system was hit near the village of Tykhonivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
The Defense Forces also targeted logistical facilities used by Russian troops.
These included an ammunition depot near Pervomaiske and a TES oil depot in Simferopol, in temporarily occupied Crimea.
Ukrainian forces are placing particular emphasis on targeting the enemy’s drone control systems.
Drone control centers were struck in the areas of Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, and Tykhonivka in the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as in Bondarevske, Komar, and near the village of Zaporizhzhia in the Donetsk region.
Additional strikes were recorded near Tyotkino in Russia’s Kursk region.
Workshops used by drone units were also hit in the areas of Bondarevske in the Donetsk region and Burchak in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Separately, Ukrainian units struck an enemy command and observation post near Pokrovsk.
"Ukraine’s Defense Forces will continue systematic efforts to degrade the enemy’s combat capabilities and destroy its military infrastructure," the General Staff said.
In addition, on the morning of April 29, drones struck two Russian cities — Orsk and Perm.
Targets included an oil refinery and a facility belonging to a pipeline company. Orsk is located more than 1,400 km from the Ukrainian border.
