Drones attacked two Russian cities, Orsk and Perm. A refinery and a facility belonging to an oil pipeline company came under attack, according to local authorities, OSINT analysis, and social media posts.

Orsk: Strike on a refinery 1,400 km from Ukraine

In the morning, drones attacked a local oil refinery in Orsk. The distance from the city to the border with Ukraine is more than 1,400 kilometers.

Details about the consequences of the attack are currently being clarified.

OSINT specialists from ASTRA confirmed a hit on the Orsknefteorgsintez refinery.

It is one of the largest oil refineries in Russia. It processes about 6 million tons of oil per year.

Mayor Artyom Vorobyov confirmed the attack and urged residents not to go outside.

Perm: Fire at a Transneft facility

Drones also reached Perm. Local authorities confirmed an attack on one of the industrial sites — a fire broke out there.

Social media reports say a facility of the oil pipeline company Transneft is on fire.

Governor of the Perm Krai Dmitry Makhonin confirmed the attack.

“Today, an enemy drone fell on one of the industrial sites in the Perm municipal district. Workers were evacuated. There are no casualties. A fire broke out at the facility,” he said.

This is not the first attack on Russia’s oil infrastructure in recent weeks. Ukrainian drones struck the oil terminal in Tuapse (Krasnodar Krai, Russia) three times in two weeks — on April 16, 20, and 28.

A large-scale fire engulfed new tanks, and local authorities were forced to announce an evacuation.

Kremlin head Vladimir Putin reacted to the series of Ukrainian strikes on the Tuapse refinery for the first time. He called them “terrorist,” but claimed there is no large-scale threat.
