Nearly 300 properties damaged after Russian deadly strike in Myla near Kyiv

Authorities have begun assessing the damage and repairing utilities in Myla village in the Kyiv region. Power has been restored on the two hardest-hit streets, Kyiv Regional Military Administration head Tymur Tkachenko reports.
About 300 damaged properties have been counted in the village of Myla in the Bucha district and nearby settlements. More than 200 of them are private homes, while another 14 are apartment buildings.
Some homes were completely destroyed, while the rest sustained partial or minor damage.
According to Tkachenko, 38 people were killed in the strike and subsequent detonations. Another 52 people were injured, including five children. Nine people remain hospitalized, and doctors describe their condition as moderate.

Emergency Service units have extinguished all fires. Pyrotechnics teams are working around the clock at the site, detecting and neutralizing explosive objects.
On the two most heavily damaged streets, electricity specialists restored power after demining was completed. Work to restore electricity and gas supplies is continuing in other areas.
Aid for residents
A humanitarian center is operating at the site, where people can receive psychological support and submit applications for financial assistance.
More than 200 such applications have been submitted so far. Together with the Ministry for Restoration, Infrastructure and Transport, authorities are developing mechanisms to rebuild destroyed homes and infrastructure.
As previously reported, on the evening of August 28, Russian forces struck warehouses with drones in the Bucha district of Kyiv region. The fire was accompanied by explosions and the detonation of ammunition.
