Nausėda suggests that Trump’s attitude towards Ukraine could improve in near future

The attitude of US President Donald Trump towards Ukraine may improve in the near future. Intensive contacts are ongoing between Ukraine and the US, states Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda, according to LRT.
He noted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is "doing everything possible" to set aside emotions after the argument with US President Donald Trump.
According to the Lithuanian president, the head of Ukraine's state is working "very constructively" with the US government.
"This is confirmed not only by the letter (from Zelenskyy to Trump - ed.) but also by very intense contacts – not necessarily at the presidential level but with other US administration officials – which lead me to believe that the attitude of President Donald Trump’s team toward Ukraine will change for the better in the near future," Nausėda added.
Trump and Zelenskyy's argument
On Friday, February 28, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Washington. He met with US President Donald Trump at the White House.
During their conversation with journalists, a dispute broke out between the leaders. Trump made several sharp statements directed at Zelenskyy, claiming that without US assistance, Ukraine "won't last more than two weeks."
Due to the argument between Zelenskyy and Trump, their meeting ended prematurely. On March 4, it became known that the US had stopped providing military aid to Ukraine.
Meanwhile, today, March 5, it was revealed that Ukraine has stopped receiving intelligence data from the US.
