Today, on July 25, after a nighttime Russian shelling, the debris of a Shahed drone was found in Romania. NATO accused Russia of irresponsibility, according to Sky News.

NATO sees no indication that Russia deliberately attacked Romania with Shaheds. At the same time, this incident points to “irresponsible and potentially dangerous” cases of Russian drones entering the airspace of an Alliance member.

"While NATO has no information indicating any intentional attack by Russia against allied territory, these acts are irresponsible and potentially dangerous," a statement says.

The North Atlantic Alliance has intensified monitoring and surveillance measures in recent days, including aerial patrols.

Night attack on Ukraine

On the night of July 25, Russian forces attacked Ukraine using Shahed strike drones. In total, the enemy deployed 38 UAVs targeting several directions, including the southern Odesa region and central regions of Ukraine.

During the repulsion of the attack, air defense destroyed 25 strike drones. Three Shaheds crossed the state border with Romania and were lost.

Later, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, Luminița Odobescu, confirmed the information regarding the detection of UAV debris on the territory of her country.
