NATO dismisses possibility of Ukraine's defeat in war with Russia

Currently, Ukraine and its military forces are in very strong defensive positions and are even improving those positions, states the Commander of NATO's Allied Forces in Europe, General Christopher Cavoli, during hearings in the US Senate Armed Services Committee.
During his speech in the Senate, Cavoli was asked whether Ukrainians were doomed to defeat, to which he replied that this was a very important question.
"There's nothing inevitable in war, and the Ukrainians are in very strong defensive positions right now and are improving weekly their ability to generate force and to reinforce those positions. It is hard sitting here right now to envision a major Ukrainian offensive that clears everybody, you know, out of every square inch of Ukraine, but likewise it's very hard to envision Ukraine collapsing and losing that conflict. I do not think there's an inevitability to a Ukrainian loss," said the NATO general.
Possible Russian offensive on the front
Some time ago, media outlets spread information that Russia is allegedly preparing a new offensive in Ukraine. The Associated Press, citing its sources, reported that the Russian army may launch an offensive in the coming weeks.
The potential targets of the enemy could include the Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions.
According to military expert Pavlo Narozhnyi, a Russian offensive is definitely expected, but the real scale of it remains uncertain.
