Zelenskyy's plane nearly hit by drone while taking off from Moldova - Norway's PM

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's plane came under threat of a drone attack while departing Moldova, according to Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre in comments to NRK.
The Norwegian prime minister spoke about the danger the Ukrainian president faced on his way to Oslo.
"His plane was almost hit by a drone while taking off from Moldova. That is the reality he faced," Støre emphasized.
The head of state's trip to Oslo began with his participation in official mourning events. Volodymyr Zelenskyy attended the funeral ceremony for King Harald of Norway.
A meeting between the Ukrainian president and Jonas Gahr Støre took place in Oslo. During the talks, the sides discussed strengthening Ukraine's air defense, including the provision of interceptor missiles for Patriot systems.
Special attention was paid to Ukraine's energy needs. Last winter, Norway had already provided Kyiv with significant assistance in the energy sector.
This time, they discussed Ukraine's current needs and Norway's ability to continue its support ahead of the new heating season.
RBC-Ukraine also reported that the Norwegian government recently announced a new large-scale support package for Ukraine for 2027, which will be comparable in size to this year's aid.
