MoD assures that Ukraine to receive sufficient aid from partners in 2025
Ukraine will receive sufficient military aid next year. In total, the United States provides 50% of the support, European partners contribute over 40%, and the rest comes from other countries and Ukraine's own contributions, states Ukraine's Minister of Defense, Rustem Umerov, during a national telethon.
"For the last few months, we have been working on bilateral relations with American and European partners. We analyzed the military aid delivered over the past 2.5 years, set priorities, paid for a lot of what will be delivered this year, and the supplies will come next year," Umerov said.
According to him, a sufficient amount of assistance from partners will continue next year. The minister also expressed hope that the aid would be significant.
"This year, we worked fruitfully with our partners. I want to note that a third of these investments were our state contributions. We have built our own defense-industrial complex," the Minister of Defense added.
Umerov mentioned that cooperation with the US on military assistance accounts for about 50%, with European partners for more than 40%, and the rest comes from other partners and Ukraine's own contributions.
