Russian missile and drone attack on Ukraine during the night of May 25
As reported earlier, last night, just like the previous one, the enemy carried out a massive combined strike across Ukraine, using kamikaze drones and various types of missiles. According to monitoring groups, Russian forces attacked Ukraine from strategic aviation aircraft (Tu-95 and Tu-160 planes were in the air), as well as from the Black Sea, where four missile carriers launched up to 28 Kalibr cruise missiles and also conducted ballistic missile strikes.
Explosions were reported in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Chernihiv, Sumy, and in the Zaporizhzhia and Ternopil regions. Air defense systems were actively operating in these regions against enemy aerial targets. Casualties have been confirmed in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and the Kyiv region (where three people died).
Due to the massive Russian attack on Ukraine’s territory, Poland and its allies have scrambled their military aviation.
