Military assistance to Ukraine: Germany to allocate over 7 billion euros
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz spoke with U.S. President Joe Biden on January 16. The leaders expressed their support for assistance to Ukraine, according to the German federal government.
During the conversation, the German Chancellor and the U.S. President discussed the situation in Ukraine and the Middle East. They condemned Russia's attack on Ukraine and agreed on the necessity of continuing to provide financial, military, and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.
In 2024, Germany will allocate military assistance to Ukraine for over seven billion euros.
Military assistance from Germany to Ukraine
Germany is one of Ukraine's primary allies in the struggle against Russian aggression. The country has provided Ukraine with humanitarian and financial assistance, totaling billions of euros.
