Man in balaklava shoots car on Dnipro highway: one killed
An undefined man opened fire on the N-31 highway in Dnipro on the evening of Wednesday, December 27. As a result, one person was killed, reports the police of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
As the announcement states, around 6:00 PM on Wednesday, a report was received at the police station that an unknown man in a balaclava had jumped onto the N-31 road and fired several shots. According to preliminary information, the man fired from a silenced automatic weapon at a car. The driver died on the spot from the injuries.
To establish all the circumstances of the crime, an investigative-operational group was dispatched to the scene. It is also reported that 'all police services' are involved in the search for the suspect.
"A special police operation has been initiated across the region to search for and apprehend the criminal," the statement said.

As reported by the police, the deceased driver was 49 years old. Regarding the intentional murder of the driver, investigators have opened a criminal case under Part 2, Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Shooting in Prague
On December 21, in a university in the center of Prague, Czechia, a man carried out a shooting. Initially, there were reports of 10 victims, but later in the evening, local law enforcement clarified that the shooter killed at least 15 people and injured at least 24 others.
According to the Czech police, the attacker committed suicide when law enforcement officers opened fire on him. The shooter was identified as 24-year-old philosophy faculty student David Kozak.
