Night explosion in Poland linked to Russian Shahed drone, Warsaw prepares protest

Poland claims that on the night of August 20, a Russian version of a Shahed drone most likely exploded on the country's territory. Warsaw is preparing a protest to Russia, according to a statement by Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski and TVN24.
According to Sikorski, the Polish authorities concluded that on that night the country's airspace had been violated and the object came "from the east."
"Another violation of our airspace from the east confirms that Poland's most important mission within NATO is to defend its own territory. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will express a protest against those responsible," the minister wrote.
Polish MFA spokesman Paweł Wroński told TVN24 that the object which exploded at night in a cornfield in eastern Poland was a Russian version of a Shahed drone.
"Experts point to the Russian version of the Shahed drone," he said.
